Home, Sick, All F*ing Weekend!

I feel a bit better now, but I've been trying to kick this damn cold since last Tuesday. I missed out on our re-do of the Olema bike trip we took earlier this year. Eliot borrowed my bike. Sounds like he enjoyed riding it. At least it got some use. I haven't been commuting much at all since we've moved.
There's been awesome TV on since I've been sick. Makes it much easier to stay in bed all day. Also, having my lovely lady bring me food and tea all day long helps tons. I've had a pile of animals on me. The cats love it when I spend all day in bed. I think they relate, and don't feel as guilty about their day-to-day.
There's an Abbott and Costello Meets... marathon going on. I love these movies. They always make me excited for Halloween. Right now it's Abbott and Costello Meet Fankenstein:

What I'm really missing, and may just figure out where to buy it, finally, is Mad Monster Party.

Boy! that didn't take much looking. I remember watching this movie at least two or three times a year on KTLA Channel 5. The Sunday Family Film Festival, hosted by Tom Hatten, was about the coolest movie showcase ever. Here's another little write up I just found on Mad Monster Party.
Time for some Indian Take-Out and Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy!
