"South of the Slot

i joined a yahoo group called thePortola. it's comprised of people that live in my immediate area. there are meetings every-so-often. i decided to attend last nights meeting. lucky for me. i got to meet the Captain of the Ingleside Police Station. he spoke about a shooting that happened last month in the area. i also got to meet some guy who's the president of an organization called Friends of McLaren Park, Frank something. best part of the night was when Frank was talking about the park and mentioned our area as being "south of the slot". a term i've never heard before. here's what i found:

This Guy!!

Blake sent me an email today. I forgot that his birthday was coming up. Sucks to have someone I like so much, living so close, and not seeing them. I blame him (haha). Anyway, Happy Birthday to Blake (on Oct. 11th?). Call my shit sometime!

This weekend is the annual S.N.I.F.F party in Jackson, Ca. If nothing else it's a drunken night of rock n' roll, dancing, burnouts and avoiding the local Sheriff (who one year threatened to close down the local National Saloon, just cos the bartenders were dancing on the bar...with their tops off, but come on!).
