so young, so dumb
surprisingly i can relate to Wayne Rooney. i was a spoiled 19 year old, racing motorcycles, and losing my temper each time something went wrong. to expect any different out of someone who's that young, and putting that much pressure on themselves, is just plain stupid. Rooney's learning. plus i think his playing speaks for itself. i thought this article was a bit harsh considering. new pictures! you can see 'em below.i took some this morning, in one of the worst states of things since we moved in. i steam cleaned the living room rug last night, which forced us to pile everything in the corners. you get the idea though. [insert mantra: still so much to do].
i'm happy to see Madonna's entire catalog on iTunes. fuck, can't believe i just said that, but i've always had a thing for her, and especially the self titled first album. come on, "Borderline", "Burning Up"? awesome! i met her, ya know (oh shit, not this old story). yeah, i met her and Sean Penn when they were still married. i met them at my friends beach house in Malibu. it helped that my friend was the daughter of Madonna's manager. i spent a summer at that beach house, and have some great memories from that summer. speaking of which, i wonder where JJ is? if anyone knows Jesica Kline give me a shout.

what a mess! LOOK! there's da wolf! haven't seen him in days. i think he was lost behind some boxes and managed to eat his way out. after days of living off of dust mites, i think he's lost a couple ounces.

Olympiacos 1-3 Rosenborg

Yay for Rosenborg!! Norway's best football team won their first Champions League match today against Greece's Olympiacos. i only wish i could have seen the match. maybe at a pub on my way home. can't wait to see them play Real Madrid!
so no house photos last night, sorry to say. i did download some that show the place after it was painted. you can get an idea of how colorful it is. at first i was worried that it was too much, now i'm stoked. with our stuff in there it looks much better, and the color looks more subdued.
this weekend we're heading to Ventura to Djinni and Dave's wedding. can't wait! it's gonna be fun as hell. the wedding is going to be in Dee & John's (the bat people) barn.
Dee & John are bat conservationists. they drive a Winnebago around that has "Save the Bats" written on the side. if i recall correctly, they've been all around the world looking at various bat caves. i love bats, so naturally i love them. i used to live down the street from them in Ventura. they live in the Ventura Keys, and own a good chunk of farmland close to the freeway. you can faintly see the barn in this shot i got from google maps:

Pics are coming!
to anyone that's been waiting for pictures of the new house, they're coming. i had no internet access last week, and haven't been good about keeping this site up-to-date. i heard something about being able to update it from my cell phone, but i can't find how to do it. anyone who knows, let me know.just some quick notes about the move, i hope to write more later. our families have been great at helping us. i couldn't imagine going through this move without them, it would have been impossible. a huge thank you to our folks!!
Paco! i can't thank you enough. you really came through for us as our translator, basically our foreman. we owe you big!
we got some good workers too. they did an excellent job getting the house ready, even with a language barrier. we're going to have them help us with all upcoming upgrades.

sasha and i went with the boys for some motorcycle training this last weekend. we went to Rich Oliver's Mystery School. 'what's the mystery?' wouldn't you like to know? we had a great time. you can check out some pictures here.
ciao
