Vegas in December

oh for foks sake! i had this great post here that got lost when firefox decided to update itself then lock up on me. anyway, here's some of what i've got the patience to re-write:

A super fun weekend celebrating Laura's birthday. Sean came out from NYC to meet us. What a trooper, sick with a cold, hopped up on meth-a-fed and drink, he rocked on, and even stayed out until 5am Sat. night. You're my hero Sean.

Laura was a great tour guide. She took us to some fabulous spots. Most notably a Cuban restaurant (The Florida Cafe) for brunch, which was actually where we all went to share a glass of champagne after Karm and I tied the knot. We stopped next door for a few pictures, at The Little White Chapel, where relived some memories.

Laura got us into the Playboy club, VIP style, which was nice. Nice not spending $40 ea. to get in. The bunnies were about the only thing Playboy about the club. Other than that it was just like any other Vegas night club. Talk about squandering a great opportunity to do something original.

Sunday afternoon we had our traditional stop for drinks at Parasol Down in the Wynn (for sure my favorite bar in Vegas). A great place to be for early evening drinks.

Sean, I hope you were taking notes from Laura on how to fill a dance card, cos' we're coming for you next...NYC in February.

Laura's priceless earrings.

We finally made it to Carluccio's for dinner.

Best $300 I've ever spent.
